Orfeo

Orfeo

The brief for The Royal Opera House production of Orfeo; taking place in the round in Camden’s Roundhouse, went something along the lines of:

"Two days to get set, sound and light in before the first rehearsal, for which everything must be completely ready. Everything needs to be amplified for clarity, but in such a way that no-one notices."
It has to be one of the best starts to a year we have ever had. Read more

Hofesh

Hofesh

Widely acclaimed as a visionary artist, Hofesh Shechter’s “Political Mother Choreographers Cut” was no more or less surprising than we have come to expect from this unique performer.  RNSS provided the sound at Sadlers Wells for the show and were delighted in the resulting review in the Telegraph:

“{Hofesh} returned to work in a revised “Choreographer’s Cut” – and the result is mind-blowing…The piece feels not only bigger than before, but also better, as thrilling a knitting of dance, music and spectacle as a British theatre can ever have seen".           Read more

Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka has been described as the world’s second best Sitar player- second only to her father, Ravi who sadly died recently. We’d like to extend our sympathies to her and the family as whole. That she was described as the second best player to her father was no faint praise. Modest as ever she doesn’t comment on this but anyone who has heard her perform can be left in no doubt of her extraordinary skills and empathy for the instrument. We were approached by her management company, Sulivan Sweetland, to suggest suitable engineers for her world tour and were delighted when Dennis Fernandez and Julian Hepple were asked to form part of her team. Read more

We are proud to have worked in some unique venues, unusual locations and above all with some truly talented Artistes.  We are not able to list them all here for you but above are just some examples of our recent projects.

We are comfortable working in both external and internal event spaces.  From Canada Square Park in Canary Wharf to the Hammersmith Apollo; from Sadler's Wells to the Members Dining Room at the House of Lords, no venue is too big or too small.

Over the years our client base has grown largely through word-of-mouth.  We value the longstanding relationships we have with our clients some of whom go back over twenty years. Southbank Centre is of course one of our longest standing clients and we continue to grow and develop that relationship through projects such as Festival of Britain, Ether, Women of the World, Meltdown,Vintage and the multitude of performances both contemporary and classical that fill much of our year.

Serious Ltd have been kind enough to use our services for at least the same amount of time and the relationship we have the Barbican Centre is only slightly younger. Add to this Canary Wharf- Richard first went onsite to view Cabot Hall when the site was less than half completed-  the BBC, Birmingham's Symphony Hall and Grosvenor House. To this we can now include a close working partnership with Sound Intermedia, freeing Dave Sheppard and Ian Dearden from having to deal with kit so they can better concentrate on their work as artists and composers.
