This festival of African and Brazilian music was conceived to reinforce the cultural connections of these two vast areas of land. Born in Rio de Janeiro, 2012 was the first year that the festival travelled to Europe and RNSS was privileged to supply the sound throughout the three-day event.
Our rich experience with cultural music and the precise sound requirements it demands, combined with our extensive knowledge of Old Billingsgate meant that we were perfectly placed to support all the acts across the three main performance areas.
We also supplied sound to the large chill out zone in the vaults which was the most challenging element. Not only were we looking after a vast array of artistes in the acoustically challenging space, but the logistics of loading in and out demanded a high level of attention to detail owing to the restricted access and the large number of suppliers on site.
